Karen's voice will never be matched by anyone! I find it amazing that even after listening to her over and over, year after year, I still get chills when I hear that gorgeous alto voice float into my ears. I miss her more than can be put into words. There will never be another one like her. Truly magical!

A truly mesmerizing voice that prompts my father's admiration and subsequent crass humor every year without fail: "you know she starved herself to death?"

Karen Carpenter... i s there a more beautiful voice? Each Christmas my bride of 31 years put up the decorations and enjoy hot chocolate by the sound of the Carpenters Christmas albums (yes,albums) tapes, CDs, and now Pandora! Thank you so much for making this music available!

i love the carpenters i watched all of their christmas and reg. specials on tv.Karen has a voice that can't be beat even by the women of now.

Probably the greatest female voice in these past 50 years, or more. Karen had such tonal range. She could handle perhaps 4 octaves - all the time making it pleasant to listen to. Missed a lot...Karen, wish you were still here.
