Casiopea
Selected Discography
Great music. Would like to hear "The Soundgraphy" . More of Cas would be nice.

I couldn't agree more with rtakemori, Casiopea is indeed one of the best all-time fusion-jazz groups in history....a s far as I'm concerned. I'd also like to see some of their earlier work circa 1981, 'Eyes of the Mind', for one would be absolute icing on the cake. Back then, I ended up buying two LP pressings of 'Eyes of the Mind', due to the fact I wore out the initial copy. I too hope to see some of Casiopea's earlier work as well, thanks!

WOW! Go Pandora. When I entered this in as a search, I was sure you didn't know about them. These guys have always been one of my favorites. I own twenty of their CDs and the best one "The Soundgraphy" is not here. Their best stuff was from their first six or so albums (again none are here). Hopefully that will change. The few re-recording s of their early hits that you do have don't do them justice.

I'D CALL THESE GUYS JAPAN'S EQUIVALENT OF ICELAND'S MEZZOFORTE. YET ANOTHER BEST KEPT SECRET. I'M ALREADY HOOKED!

Thanks for the info. I didn't know who they were. I never heard of them before. Nice music.

These guys are from Japan; they may have been performing in the last 20+ years.
They were really big in Asia back in the 80's and 90's. |
