Children 18:3 is a Christian punk band from Morris, Minnesota. The band is composed of homeschooled siblings<1> David, Lee Marie and Seth Hostetter.<3 > The lead vocals are shared by David and Lee Marie with their brother Seth on the drums.<4> Their band's name refers to the Bible verse Matthew 18:3, "And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."

also from7tilldea t h Jesus said to them, "But who do you say that I am?"Simon Peter said in reply, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God."
Jesus said to him in reply, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father. And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. |

Homemade Valentine is a great song not only for how it sounds, but also for the lyrics, it's not a perspective you often see on the situation. It also made the phrase "Peter'ed out" make sense to me for the first time... If you're not up on your Biblical knowledge, Peter's the guy that denied he knew Jesus 3 times as he was being crucified, but later became a key in the foundation of the early church. Reaffirming that we will all be week at some time, but we will not be forsaken. ;)

I found out what it means, and i get it now, also the Tooth and Nail affiliation should have tipped me off.

Dorian, Check out Matthew chapter eighteen verse three (actually read the entire book). It will probably shed a little light on your question of "what the hell is up with '18:3'?" If you don't have a bible handy, go to www.biblegat e w a y . c o m and search for 'Matt 18:3'. peace

Not a bad band, nice sorta generic punk that wont get you in too much trouble with your parents. I like this band but I wonder what the hell is up with the "18:3"? Is it supposed to be Biblical, because I know that there is no Bible thingy named "children". I'm confused!! Can someone tell me what their name means?!?!?!

I'm usually not a fan of punk, but this band is great. Homemade Valentine is an awesome song. Be sure you read the lyrics though!
