Andrea Corr, who plays the manager's sister in the movie, also is the lead singer for The Corrs, a band that includes her sisters and brother. I have two of their concert DVD's. Great pop music and better DVD's... This was in the 90's, so they're not doing much these days...

I first saw the movie "The Commitments" and immediately went out and bought the cassette tape. The music is fabulous. As technology advanced, I replaced the tape with a CD. I still play it regularly.
