I'd love to see what John Cowan could do with this song (youtube his version of Oh Darlin), but this Ten Tenors version is pretty darn good: http://www.y o u t u b e . c o m / w a t c h ? v = M Z w k M R 3 L P 9 c

Few lead vocalists out there could stand a comparison to Freddie Mercury in his prime; this version is way better than the Flaming Lips for sure.

I'm glad there's somebody doing Queen songs and I'm glad this group is doing it well!
|
||
The Queen songs I have listened to so far from this artist have been very good Covers of the original Queen Songs.

not a bad version, but I can only listen to Freddie sing this one as its close to my heart, I was 10 yrs old when I first heard this song and it made the world of music much more beautiful to me, luv, luv, luv it:):):)

Look, i'll admit it's not the best version, you can't top queen with one of their most epic songs... but it's really not bad, i've heard worse, maybe pandora couldn't get the rights to play queen's version of Bohemian Rhapsody??
there's a lot of music that you can't find on here, but you find stuff that's still good..... instead of whining "WHAAAA IT'S NOT QUEEN WHAAAA" be constructive , like lovesmovies said, the arrangement is pretty good, it's not mercury, but it's not bad... |

I agree with geraldpriddl e . I like the song but this version is offensive to me. I hope Pandora knows it's the artist i am giving "thumbs down" to. Not the song. One of the all time great songs.

No one will ever even come close to Freddie Mercury's amazing voice. But this arrangement is not bad.
|
||
I like it. Helps keep the GREAT FREDDIE MERCURY ALIVE!
Rest in Peace my friend |

does the project take into consideratio n that I might like the song because of its "rhythm and syncopation" but not like the song because it's not being sung by Queen. It's being sung by someone else imitating Queen, which is kind of offensive to me. There's more to figuring out people's music preferences than just matching like rhythms and melodies.
