Biography
Philadelphia's Da' T.R.U.T.H. is a vanguard artist in the genre of Christian rap, having won numerous awards and critical praise. Originally a drummer, Emanuel Lee Lambert, Jr. became Da' T.R.U.T.H. in 2003 when the Cross Movement label released his debut EP Who Is the Truth. A year later, his debut album Moment of Truth appeared, with The Faith following in 2005. The latter won the Stellar Award of Rap/Hip-Hop Gospel CD of the Year in 2007. That same year his Open Book album arrived, winning its own Stellar Award plus a Grammy nomination, in 2008. Truth in advertising, his ambitious effort The Big Picture landed in 2009 with a guest appearance from Kirk Franklin. ~ David Jeffries, All Music Guide

I'm a youth pastor. I took my youth group to a Christian event and many of my youth loved this guy. They bought his newest CD. Now they're listening to the Truth instead of the lies that world calls music. Thank God for this man.

T.R.U.T.H. is hotttttttttt ! H e is highly respected in the gospel community. I was blessed to be able to see him in concert on New Years' Eve. Man, I can't even tell you how annointed this brother is!

I fell in love with his style of music from the first time I heard him with Cross Movement in early 2004 (before the Album came out). I've loved everything from Da T.R.U.T.H. since. There are a lot of artist that straddle the fence but you can definitely see that Da T.R.U.T.H. is not one of them.

I am so feel'n Da Truth. I believe no matter what format you choose to use as long as it is to glorify God, it will be appreciated. Satan uses hip hop to get the attention of the youth. Why not get there attention using the same method, but to glorify our Father. God Bless and stay bless!!!!
