Daryl Coley
Biography
Born in San Francisco, Coley grew up on jazz music and learned to play clarinet and piano. He played keyboards for The Hawkins Family from 1977 until he left to collaborate with James Cleveland in 1983. Later he worked with jazz artists Nancy Wilson and Rodney Franklin and pop singer Philip Bailey. ~ Bil Carpenter, All Music Guide

Not only does Daryl sing with an anointed voice, but he can lift and move you with his preaching. Years ago I attended a function he was attending to hear him sing, but he did not sing at all. He preached and I as just as elevated!

All of you are so correct in your summarizing of what this annointed man has done and is doing with gospel music. But Iwould like to make a special request that all the saints of God who believe in and know how to pray, that we unite and pray without ceasing for his physical healing. I know if we all go to God in prayer on his behalf he will surely hear and answer our prayer.

Darryl was sick but thanks bee to god i saw him sing this past sunday and he still has the annoiting voice god gave him, his voice is just so clear ! Darrly is here in the beautiful city of los angeles.

I have never heard anyone command the musical scale such as Darryl. His music goes down in my heart and caresses my soul. It is unbelievable how he witnesses to me in song. Talk about God's annointing. I just read that his physical body has or is under attack. In the name of Jesus, I pray for this Man of God to be healed.

I love the music minisstry of Daryl Coley. I am still working on my "To Be Like Jesus". (smile) No one,I mean no one can touch Daryl when it comes to singing. His voice is straight from the Master Himself. My favorite, "When Sunday Comes"

Where is he ?? I'd like to know what happen to him,this guy could have been good are should be with the big names of gospel..... He don't need a band to turn out a church ( Just show up and hes done what a band will never do )

Daryl is an important, milestone figure in the music world. Many things turn on his gift. He sings, and I amost don't know how to say this, as if he is standing before God the Father and the Spirit of the Lord is the only listener in the audience, and we mortals all benefit. He sings, indeed, to Jesus Himself.

When Daryl sings he really means it and feels the Spirit of God, when he sings I once sang with him in Los Angeles in a choir for a few years. He is a Saved Man, Husband and Father. This is the first I ever heard of him, pretty good, almost sounds sort of like a Jazz kind of Gospel. Nice & Smooth. I'd like to hear more from him.

Apostle Daryl Coley is definitely an anointed vessel that our God has blessed the body of Christ with. He is a phenomenal singer, preacher and prophet. I have always loved his ministry in Christ Jesus and his spirit, but most of all his genuine relationship with God that you sense in his worship.
