Don't see the ATDI comparisons at all, maybe more like Sleater-Kinn e y . No where near as original as either. Not too bad, though, maybe it will grow on me.

Just grabbed "A Different Way To Get By" a few weeks ago. The music is a bit simple, but it's good stuff. Great raw emotion combined with a sense of urgency, all while not sounding whiney (which is why I don't like emo). "Car Crash" is one of favorite tracks on here.

I couldn't even think of having a tamed ATDI; it just can't exist....and although it sounds like a bunch of different artists put together, you can't deny her emotion....t h u m b s up in my book

Is there even such a thing as a tame At The Drive-In? I don't think I would want to tame such a magnificent wild beast. But I agree, this band is good. I can enjoy it almost as much as ATDI. Although the singer sounds like she could have been from the Cranberries.
