Dead To This World
Biography
Extreme even by black metal standards, Dead to This World was formed in Bergen, Norway, in 2002 as a solo project by vocalist and bassist Iscariah (ex-Enchanted, ex-Immortal, etc.), but expanded into a full band with the arrival of spectacularly named guitarist Goatpromoter Lava (ex-Aeternus, Taake) and drummer Mord. Their three-song Dominions of Hell EP emerged three years later and was followed by a split release with like-minded purveyors of lo-fi mayhem Audiopain. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
