Decyfer Down
Biography
Originally operating under the moniker Allysonhymn (pronounced "all-eyes-on-him"), Christian rockers Decyfer Down create a wall of sound with a message. Formed in 2002 around the talents of drummer Josh Oliver, vocalist/bassist Caleb Oliver, and guitarists Brandon Mills and Chris Clonts, the band's melodic and hard-driving debut, End of Grey, arrived on Sony Records in June 2006. The album proved to be quite popular in the Christian community, sending four consecutive singles into heavy rotation on the Internet radio station ChristianRock.net. Caleb Oliver left the lineup shortly thereafter, and former Fighting Instinct vocalist T.J. Harris enlisted in his place. Returning in 2009 with the sophomore effort Crash, Decyfer Down garnered more support from independent Christian rock radio. Additionally, the album's title track was featured in the pay-per-view broadcast of WrestleMania XXV, thus exposing the band's music to a wider audience. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide

Their new album, Crash, is so well done and well played it makes the End of Grey look foolish.

I love Decyfer Down! My favorite song is probably their new one called Fading. They have a new album out called Crash that Pandora doesn't have in their files, but it's so cool.

They have a new album out already - Crash. I bought it last night in Spencer, IA where they played with Disciple and Skillet on the Comatose Tour. It was the best concert I have ever seen. Their new album is quite spectacular as well.

if you guys want to see them live go to the Carteret County NC area. That's where they hail from. And they have a new CD in the works. They went through a line up change recently.

This the best christian rock band out there. They draw the feelings out of you. They are just so awesome. MY FAVE!!!!

These guys JAM!! Heavy metal with great riffs, killer vocals, depth & POWER too. And the best thing is they are giving a good message for all of us to hear. Will listen to more of these guys
