Biography

A pastor and music director at Detroit's Unity Cathedral of Faith, Deitrick Haddon and his Voices of Unity drew upon both secular and spiritual influences to create a sound they dubbed "gospel soul." Debuting in 1995 with Come into This House, two years later Haddon issued Live the Life, which scored a pair of Gospel Music Workshop of America Excellence Awards: "New Artist of the Year--Urban Contemporary," and "Album of the Year--Urban Contemporary." I really enjoy Deitrick. I first heard his music on Pandora, and I was truely blessed. I had to buy his CD, I now listen to him all the time. Great man of God! I pray God continue to bless him and his ministry.

Detrick Haddon's music is the soundtrack to my life.I discovered him when I was first saved and threw out my Tupac.The first week of my new life I was in the mall looking for a new artist to fit my life;Lost And FOUND had just came out.Perfect timing!I introduced him to my new found Saved friends and some of my unsaved friends.I'VE been a loyal fan since then.

Another favorite artist of mine. I admire his strong praise. I can feel this man's powerful love for God. To me, Deitrick is not a half-stepper . He gives all that he has to our Almighty. I think that his parents should be proud that they have a young spiritual man. I pray that he continues his journey down this path and don't let anything hinder him from God's blessings. His voice is beautiful and his soul as well. Oh Yeah, I love Damita as well!!! I got all his cds!!
