Biography
The underground hip-hop supergroup Deltron 3030 features Deltron Zero (Del Tha Funkee Homosapien), the Cantankerous Captain Aptos (producer/remixer Dan "The Automator" Nakamura) and Skiznod The Boy Wonder (turntablist Kid Koala). Much like Nakamura's previous conceptual projects, Dr. Octagon and Handsome Boy Modeling School, Deltron 3030's self-titled album and single sends the hip-hop triumvirate into the year 3030, where -- as the sole survivors of earth -- they travel through the galaxy. Both the album and single were released in 2000 on 75 Ark Records. An album of instrumentals tracks from Tron 3030 followed a year later. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide

O.K. Del is the founder of the Hip Hop group, Hieroglyphic s . He has been around since the early 90's and has put out a number of solo albums as well as Hieroglyphic albums.He always comes thru with innovative and inventive music. check it.

Del is worth listening to, no matter the album, no matter the song.
Everything he does, from his best to his most mediocre, is leagues better and more solidly crafted than 99% of the bulls**t you find out there. For real, he's a diamond in the rough. |

Absolutely one of the best albums ever made. I'm a huge fan of Del, Kid K., and Dan the Automator. Cant wait for the next 3030 album.

no props for kid koala for beats? wow... del spits like none other and this album showcases that, but kid koala creates some great sound scapes to capture the mode like none other.
for the next deltron 3030 album, kid k. has laid the tracks, all del has to do is finish his end of the deal. he is dragging his feet for all i can tell. this could be due to del being slightly unhappy with the outcome of this 3030 album. not sure why, but thats what i have read somewhere. anyone else with more in |
