Anyway, their 2008 album, Inventions released some singles. But it's unclear whether it will ever be released.
Sorry about all the posts, but there's a 500 character limit. |

however, surfing around their websites, I have come across news that David Jones, the newer lead singer, and a new guy are working on a new album. Also according to David Jones the band is going to reform "as a new band".
But I don't know if that's going to include all the old members or not. Additionally , it's pretty safe to say Lee Irons (vocalist on "Dirty Words") isn't coming back. But don't worry, considering how his side project sounds, he wasn't the creative vision behind the departure. |

"The Departure was an English rock band from Northampton, formed in January 2004. Their debut album, Dirty Words, was released 13 June 2005. A second album was expected to be released in early 2008, but it never saw the light. The band confirmed their split on 30 January 2008, on their myspace page, and stated that they intended to continue to record under another name. The reason they gave was that their label dropped them."

Wish there was some background information about this band. They have good breakdowns with their riffs & vocals. "Be My Enemy" is fiesty. RawR. Many nights I find myself relating to the sentiments. =)
