I bought a copy of this album from Doug after a set of his earlier this year at the Belmont Hotel in Dallas. It's one of those records you immediately recognize as an important staple in your collection. Gritty and densely layered tracks like Slow Southern Home, Thing About Trouble, and the epic Blood Runs Downhill make this a classic in the most honest sense of the word.
