Dream Evil
Biography
Dream Evil is the pet project of producer Fredrik Nordstrom and guitarist Gus G., both of whom felt they could easily become a strong force in the metal underground if they teamed up. Forming a power metal foursome with drummer Snowy Shaw and vocalist Niklas Isfeldt, the band recorded Dragon Slayer and released it in the summer of 2002. In 2003, the humorous Evilized put a new spin on their sound, offering several self-consciously silly lyrics that fit well into their improved approach. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide

Dream Evil, great band. I personally like Evilized the best of all their cd's. The Book of Heavy Metal is great as well, but for me there is just something
about Evilized that kicks a**. I really wished Snowy Shaw and Gus G were still in the band. They seem to be a lot tighter in their songwriting and playing than the current lineup. I do like United however, don't get me wrong, just needs a little more punch here and there and I think Gus and Snowy would have provided that extra kick. |

my friends recommended that i hear dream evil because they sound like dragonforce, but after looking at their similar artists i can tell they were wrong, but good band anyways.

I just heard The 7th Day. It brought me and my work to a dead standstill.
"On the 7th Day Heavy Metal was Born"...HELL YEAH!!!!! Now back to my regularly scheduled cubicle chaos. |

One of my favorite bands of all time. All the benefits of metal without annoying screaming or throating. I agree with everyone else here, where's the Book of Heavy Metal? It's a completely amazing CD. However, I don't like them as much as I did pre-United. I miss Snowy. :'(

I love Dream Evil. United and Dragonslayer are without a doubt their best work. ^^
What? No "THE BOOK OF HEAVY METAL"? Why not? THE BOOK OF HEAVY METAL is the crown-jewel of DREAM EVIL's Discography!
The Book needs to be an encyclopedia . Either include everybody or don't bother. Soon there will be more bands than people to hear them.
