Dry Kill Logic
Biography
Originally formed in Westchester, NY, in 1995, Dry Kill Logic (singer Cliff Rigano, guitarist Scott Thompson, bassist Dave Kowatch, and drummer Phil Arcuri) is comparable to such extreme metallic outfits as Pantera, Sepultura, and Fear Factory. Two years after their formation, Dry Kill Logic issued their first EP, Cause Moshing is Good Fun, on their own label, Psychodrama Records. In July of 1998, the quartet re-entered the studio to record its first full-length album, Elemental Evil, which lead to opening slots with such heavyweight acts as Coal Chamber, Incubus, Anthrax, System of a Down, and the Misfits. After taking 1999 off, Dry Kill Logic reconvened to work on their first release for the Roadrunner Records label, The Darker Side of Nonsense, issued in June of 2001. ~ Greg Prato, All Music Guide

I'm a longtime metal head and have always dug bands like Slipknot, Mudvayne, American Head Charge, etc. I've drifted out of metal the past year but am still dabbling in it. Just came across Dry Kill Logic whom, regrettably, I never gave the time of day, until now. Damn, this is awesome. Good blend of all the bands I just listed. I'll check the thumbs-up every time!

why is megadeth listed as a similar artist? hahahaha!! dkl isn't bad, but no "extreme" (as they say) metal band can hold fear factory's jock strap. they will blow any and all out of the water.

Been a huge fan for a long time and this, thankfully, is one band that has not let me down in its progression. Live show is amazing and yes the song "Rot" kicks a**, fun to play and listen too! |

I had the pleasure of seeing these guys live @ Harpo's in Detroit probably in... 2000 or 2001. I still remember the show they put on. It was sick. I cant remember who the headliner was but i remember Dry Kill and American Headcharge. Great show.

you forget they started their journey, in music, as 'hinge' and FOUR years later in 97 released their EP. when the band signed with roadrunner they were forced to change their name to hinge a.d. because there was a record company that owened the name, they finally settled with dry kill logic.
