Eddie Jobson
Biography
This dynamic rock violinist has played with everyone from UK, Roxy Music, and Frank Zappa to Jethro Tull. Jobson's recordings as a leader showed much promise in their use of keyboards, computer-generated sounds, and wailing electric-violin solos. -cont.- crooner but his intonation is accurate and his timbre augments the evocative facets of the work. Good luck finding The Green Album at a reasonable price but if you do you may be forced to wonder why violin isn't used in more modern music.

The Green Album by Eddie Jobson/Zink is a phenomenal piece of work. Prior to Green (The Green Album) Jobson's work was a steady diet of Prog Rock. Since Green his work has been New Age Electronica (Theme of Secrets) and acoustic piano solos (Piano One.) Released in 1983 Green is it's own animal which might be called Prog New Wave (Prog Pop?) for it's tone but might still be considered Prog Rock due to it's structure.
