Dumfriesshir e born singer Emily Smith first made her mark on the Scottish music scene when she won the 2002 BBC Radio Scotland’s Young Scottish Traditional Musician of the Year Award. In the same year she formed her own band and has since toured throughout Europe and Australasia. In 2003 Emily graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama with an Honours degree in Scottish music. During this time she developed her skills on piano and accordion and established her own singing style
