These people have a habit of starting out their songs almost classical sounding and turning them into something modern.

veryfluffypi l l o w s : There's an acoustic version of one of her songs on Pandora that's musically very similar to Escala and a bunch of other instrumental groups (it's the one and only song by Rihanna that appears on my station). I'd imagine that is why Pandora is drawing that connection.
