Biography
Evolving circa 1999 from the remnants of a punk band (whence they get their strict D.I.Y. ethic), Greensboro, NC, "Southern-fried dirt metal" band Facedowninshit comprises vocalist/bassist Waylon Riffs, guitarist/vocalist Jason Crumer, and drummer Ryan Wolfe, who have since toured and recorded several albums and EPs, mostly on their own dime. These include 2001's Concrete World, 2002's S**t Bloody S**t (featuring short-tenured second guitarist David Sullivan, later of Last of the Juanitas), 2004's Passing Times, and, after striking a new deal with Relapse Records, 2006's NPON: Nothing Positive Only Negative. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
