Biography
West Coast thrash-death metal outfit Fate formed in 2003 around the talents of vocalist Justin Krahn, drummer Jacob Durrett, bassist Devin Durrett, and guitarists Kyle Fishman and Bryce Yuson while they were still in middle school. By 2005, the Carmichael, CA-based act had earned itself a slot on the Sacramento stop of the Vans Warped Tour, which resulted in a series of localized mini-tours with bigger acts like Bleeding Through, Unearth, and Amon Amarth. In 2007, while still in high school, the members of Fate signed with Metal Blade, which released the quintet's debut album, Vultures, the following year. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide
