Clearly my all-time favorite barbershop quartet. Had the pleasure of singing on the same show as them three times, including twice at Carnegie Hall. Not only great singers, but REALLY nice guys.

I had the joy of seeing the Gas House Gang win the Internationa l Championship in Calgary in 1993 and they are truly one of the great barbershop quartets. Individually and collectively , these men are outstanding examples of the craft and the character that goes along with it. What a sad thing that we lost Rob so early; nevertheless the music that he helped to create lives on for all of us.

Ghg is one of the best barbershop groups of all time. i was lucky enough to see them once when rob was still here.i also saw them with mike slamka (sp?) filling in for him.

I didn't have the pleasure of hearing GHG until after Rob's passing. One of the finest barbershop quartets I've ever heard. RIP Rob and thanks to you and the rest of GHG for some great music.
