My Mom and my two Aunts sang for Gene Autry. They were called the Pinafores. My Mom said it was some of the best times in her life. My Mom played stan-up Bass, My Aunt Beulah played Banjo, and my Aunt Eunice played a Gibson L-39 six string acoustic. I used to listen to their 78s, called "Air-Checks" . The records were made of a glass type of material with three holes in the center of the record for the "perfect cut" when recording. Great memories!
