Ghostland Observatory
Biography
Mashing together electro, rock, and funk and taking cues from such artists as Daft Punk and Prince, Ghostland Observatory formed in Austin, TX, and consists of vocalist/guitarist Aaron Behrens and producer/beat-maker Thomas Turner. The duo played its first show July 4, 2004, and the following year put out its debut, delete.delete.i.eat.meat. Paparazzi Lightning quickly followed in January 2006. ~ Kenyon Hopkin, All Music Guide

Saw these guys at Austin City Limits Music Festival, didn't plan on seeing them, but was attracted by the lights. Show was AMAZING! The best show I have ever been to.

Saw them at Redrocks, they opened up for STS9. Great light show, I would pay to just go and see them if they came threw Colorado again. Very impressed.

ahhhh! i was at the houston concert too. it was awesome! it was my lil sis's first concert ever (8). all these drunk guys kept coming up to her and talking to her! i would totally marry aaron if asked me!

I saw these guys on the 19 this month...it was an awesome show! The energy, the crowd, everything was great. The laser light show was so freaking cool too, it really helped capture the vibe of the music. Next time they are anywhere close to Oregon, I am going to go see them :D

I saw these guys a couple of nights ago in Houston and it was a great show. Nothing but energy pounding from the speaker stacks. They are opening for Nine Inch Nails next week in San Antonio and I hope I get the chance to make that show. GO SEE THESE GUYS!!!

BEST Live show I have seen in Years... Green Day put on a good show but these are F^#*ing Great. An Austin, TX Homegrown band with sounds of a NY city group. I must see these guys again.

I saw them a few months ago, and its got to be one of the best shows I've ever seen, the energy and light show is amazing. A MUST SEE!!!!

Just saw these guys at the Sasquatch festival. They stole the show... from the Flaming Lips UFO, no less. HUGE energy from Aaron, he would not quit. He made MY throat sore. Stage effects off the hook. ***GO SEE THESE GUYS LIVE***

Have to agree that this is just a remarkable band that puts on the best live show I've seen this year. Ridiculously good.
