Austin, TX's Govinda is the project of multi-instrumentalist/composer Shane O'Madden. On albums like his 1998 debut O Earthly Gods and the following year's Entwined & Entranced, {O'Madden} blends elements of classical Indian and Asian music with drum & bass and trip-hop inspired beats. I cannot get enough of Govinda. I need to listen everyday. It is such perfection. I have 5 of Shane's CDs. They play in the house, in the yard in the car...I have turned so many people on to him. Govinda = Pleasure

Austin Texas, Shane O'Madden, Indian/Asian music. I think my head is spinning. Still, it's pretty damm good. Always amazed at what comes out of the mixing bowl.
