Luke the Drifter was a poet, a philosopher, and a Southern gentleman... . . . . . . and he will never be replicated.. . . . . . . . . . he wrote and sang of universal human emotions.... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

this kind of music will never die.i fell in love with style of music at a early age

Hank Williams was the greatest country artist ever. He played the guitar, was a terrific song writer, & could & did put a lot of feeling into a song.
One of the reasons I like music is it's emotional honesty.
Hank laid himself out there, a lot like Curt Kobain when you think about it. |
william says: ,i would listen to him sing all the time never get tired of his down to earth music.

This is the kind of country I love to listen to. The new country sounds like they couldn't make it in Rock-n-Roll. . . Some of it is okay but this is the good stuff. And for those who say kids don't like country and especially this kind, I'm 15.
Another one of the Greats... he influenced alot of other great singers, and not only country music... he influenced Rock and Roll, the real Rock and Roll... all his songs are good, especially, "Hey Good Lookin", "Jambalaya", etc...
