Heaven Shall Burn
Biography
Munich, Germany's Heaven Shall Burn specialize in highly controversial and politicized death metal fused with hardcore; a hybrid style often referred to as death-core. Combining their militant defense of social concerns (racism, corruption, animal cruelty, veganism, etc.) with a seemingly boundless metallic wrath, the group's brutalizing sonic onslaught has drawn comparisons to traditional death metal bands like England's Bolt Thrower, as well as the less regimented, but equally emphatic work of Sweden's the Haunted. Founded by guitarist Maik Weichert and drummer Matthias Voigt in the fall of 1996, Heaven Shall Burn (initially named Consense) soon also included singer Marcus Bischoff and bassist Eric Bischoff. Following a set of demos, the band recorded a 1998 mini-CD entitled In Battle There Is No Law (reissued on CD with bonus tracks in 2002) and a split L.P with Fall of Serenity before welcoming second guitarist Patrick Schleitzer into their lineup. Signing with Lifeforce Records in early 2000, they subsequently unleashed the very competent Asunder album, as well as another split CD (this one with Caliban) and proceeded to tour both Europe and South America. 2002 saw the release of another acclaimed effort, and their first to gain worldwide distribution, Whatever It May Take, after which the group signed with Century Media and cut their third full-length album, Antigone, in 2004. ~ Ed Rivadavia, All Music Guide

I'm not the one who's so far away
When I feel the snake bite enter my veins. Never did I wanna be here again, And I don't remember why I came. Candles raise my desire, Why I'm so far away. No more meaning to my life, No more reason to stay. Freezing, feeling, Breathe in, breathe in... I'm coming back again... I'm not the one who's so far away When I feel the snake bite enter my veins. Never did I wanna be here again, And I don't remember why I came. |

this is a good band but there is way too much religious preaching in these comments u all just need to enjoy the music.
Ugh, reading all of the religious banter on these threads gave me a massive headache...
...too much discussion stemming from such a mediocre band. |

I DID LEARN SOMETHING FROM YOU, CAPS LOCK KEY IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR IMPORTANT.

And yes, there were just about as many species as there were now as there were then. Certain species die out and new ones emerge. Species aren't just born you fool. They also die. It's a balancing act. We're talking about a HUGE span of time too, not just thousands of years.
Downwardspir a l . . . . . even though my eyes our gouging from trying to read what you wrote, I'll respond. It's funny that all this happened way way way back in the day where they had no true way of recording events accurately. Why don't these miracles and abnormalitie s continue to this day? Why did they all of a sudden stop? There's so many holes that you'd think religion was in the middle of a drive-by shooting.

its a crying shame grown adults are so intolerant to what other people beleive believe in. at least they have the faith to beleive in something they dont even see or believe in something at all. thats pretty crazy to me. much respect to you christians, well the good ones. not the crooked ones. you endure much persecution and still press on. good for you and anyone else that endures persecution for beliefs.

missing a bunch of albums, of all the stories noahs ark is the most ludicrous? but not raising people from the dead? do you know how many species of animals exist in the world? deffinitely not as many as there were back then. species evolve and mutate thus multiplying the rate and population.p l u s alot of the species were fish or fly so they were straight. do you have a clue of how big the boat was? pretty big my friend. think cruise liner but bigger. many stories high and football fields long.
dmaydrummer, of all the stories in the bible nothing can be more ludicrous than the story of the noah's ark. do you have a clue how many species of animals exist in the world? this reads like nothing more than children's fantasy stories. it's just a crying shame grown adults choose to believe in it.
Hey dmaydrummer, did you ever think that people have once found this boat your talking about and wrote the bible after? just a thought...
I belive that you can belive what you want to. I personally do not belive in religion. That says nothing, but I think that if you want to belive that god is real, go ahead. Maybe we will all know when we die.
so i liked these guys a while back, then they removed my buddy from their friend list because they equate nationalism to genocide, second COOKIE COOKIE COOKIE. these dudes are also kebler elfs. about 2 ft tall.
meh. You may see now why I'm sceptically. I pack up my statements w/ links and citations. While you just say what you've heard.
This is a big deal. If I just take your word for it without looking into it or asking questions I'd be very close minded. |
i looked it up and it appears that they found large chunks of a boat 10,000 feet off the ground but not on the peak of the mountain.... s a d l y though this story has some holes in it.they have yet to prove that this is the ark scientificly , h o w e v e r i think large pieces of a giant boat layed specificly where the bible claimed them to be doesnt sound like a TOTAL coinsidence.
most of my references i gather from google
,christian txtbooks, and even from some athiestic sites! |
Not sure if you're correct about the ark... Who/where did you learn this from?
No, continue. This is a healthy argument IMO. I'm agnostic (for the sake of arguing semantics) |
"Dozens of expeditions to the Ararat region of eastern Turkey, mostly by American Christian groups, have led to numerous claims - but no proof."
"The Bible says Noah's boat came to rest on “the mountains of Ararat” (Genesis 8:4). “Ararat” probably designated a region (the ancient kingdom of Urartu) and not a specific mountain peak." http://www.c h r i s t i a n a n s w e r s . n e t / q - a b r / a b r - a 0 0 1 . h t m l |

for example how noah's ark has already been discovered along with other significant bible story stuff like that and how evolution doesnt hold water because the true missing link is yet to be found, look it up! anyway though im done with sharing what i beleive for the moment i dont want to be a pushy butt about this.....so what would you say you do beleive in exactly?
haha the book is what makes me relax....i think if you look in a christian txtbook you'll find the other side of the story behind the whole battle between other religions and theries.
Now we have soooo many reasons, so many logical and provable theories that it seems like a book written 2 thousand years ago is officially a fairy tale rather than a statement of fact. It was good when there were no answers, but now we have answers. You can put the book down and relax bruddah.

If he's there, he's a comedian. When he comes down, he'll greet me with a hi-5 and we'll talk about the joke known as life over a few beers. Think about it one my level for 2 seconds. When you were in school, did your teachers ever put the answers to the test next to you and tell you "don't cheat or you are expelled". I also want to touch base on my most strong argument. There have been so many religions, so many completely different beliefs, all over one thing. To explain the unexplained.
If he came down now do you realy think that people would welcome him,but beleive it or not he will eventually come down. Revalations2 2 : 7 "behold i am coming soon!Blessed is he who keeps the word of the prophecy" its then that he will take those who beleive in him to heaven.....h a h a sounds like a fariy tale but true. he wants to talk to you he loves you unconditiona l l y heck its because of his amazing love that im here throwing out what i believe and has given me joy......ps hahaha nice pun
Yes, because god (the almighty, most powerful force, in the entire universe)is just too busy to come down and tell us. He's god for Christs sake (lol pun). I doubt it'd be a bother for someone who can create an entire universe from nothing to just come down and have a word with us.
well maybe he will just not the way you expect...sti l l thats why he gave us the bible so that he wouldnt have to come in down and say it but whatever i dont want to be the person to force religion on anyone im just trying to throw this stuff out there
It's fun and I like to do it. If god doesn't like it he can come and tell me himself.

the mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked. proverbs chapter 10,verse 11. the mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom ,but a perverse tong will be cut out. proverbs chapter 10,verse 31. still even if you dont believe in the bible the lord God and all that,a better question is how does speaking UNCLEAN help?
