Mr smith....DF dosent speed up their music in the studio. They just dont do that well live. ANYWAYS, Great band. (and take the DF thing from me, I've been to QUITE a few of their concerts.)

Heavenly, a power metal/neo-cl a s s i c a l metal band from Paris, France, were formed in 1994 by vocalist Benjamin Sotto and drummer Max Pilo. Well, I definitely agree that there are some elements to this band that are better than Dragonforce. However, the most important and fortunate thing about it is...you don't have to choose between them! Mix in these guys with some DF, maybe some Hammerfall and some Edguy for flavor...you got yourself some sick awesome tune-age.

i just bought virus and i love these songs!! every single one of them is far better than anything dragonforce can dish out!! i jizzed when i herd bravery in the field and virus

Ok, I looked it up. Frederic Leclercq, the current bassist for Dragonforce, was the guitarist/ke y b o a r d s for Heavenly from 2000-2004

It is interesting everyone says Heavenly sounds like dragonforce. The band's lead singer and/or guitars (I forget exactly) is Fred LeQuerc (hell if that is spelled right). Fred is the current bassist for Dragonforce.

Rather than expound on them, or compare them to other artists, I'm just going to go with a solid "I like their sound." I plan to pick up some of their albums when my music budget has money in it again.

this band was around way before dragonforce came out with their lame attempt at progressive metal.

It's not bad. I agree it is DragonForce- e s q u e . I could definitely live without the singer, but the guitars are solid and the drummer is decent. Probably a 6 or 7 out of 10

Sounds a but like Dragonforce. I want to say something positive because i really like it, but im alittle tiered and cant think of anything specific.

A very interesting melodic style an embracing vocalist make Heavenly possible the most engaging and intense music I've heard in some time.
