Holly Brook
Biography
Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Holly Brook began singing at the age of two. Her first muses were folk and jazz, two sounds she found in perfect harmony upon discovering the music of Joni Mitchell. The budding songstress took the stage with her mother at the age of six and had her own band and two recordings under her belt by the time she was in high school. She continued to develop her sepia-toned piano pop throughout her teens, eventually moving to Los Angeles in 2003 where she met Grammy-winning producer -- and future co-writer and producer -- Jon Inglodsby. Her debut album for Machine Shop Records, Like Blood Like Honey, was released in 2006. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide

I'd like to hear more of her. Very enjoyable. She actually kind of reminds me of Anna Nalick.

This is one of the best albums I have heard in years. The more I listen to it the better it gets. She really knows how to sing- with emotion AND feeling. The piano arrangements are very good also, filling in nicely but not becoming the main theme of the music. I am not sure if the "back-up" singer parts are her voice, mixed- but if not -Who is she???? Everyone wants to compare her to other artists, but to be honest I think she is better than most of them. There are so many "performers" today

ok. so vanessa hudgens can sing the same words over and over again and post pics of herself all over the place and make a bajillion bucks, and this chick has, like, nothing. ummm, hellooooo!!! ! ? ? ? ? ? this just goes to tell you how wack america is in regards to music. she's good. really good.

the only reason i know who she is, is she sang that part in "where'd you go?" by Fort Minor (linkin park's rapper Mike Shinoda's group) other than that i think her music is ok, nice to chill to.

I love this artist. She needs a new distributer or record deal. She's too good to be this hard to find.

I really love her earthy and sort of "wind in the weeping willow tree" sound. Like you could just sit on a porch and watch the wind blow and feel calm and peaceful inside.

Love her sound! Very soulful and mature. Reminds me of Fiona Apple meets Lisa Loeb with an original twist.
