dig Slowburn.... a good song....very Galaxy 500, Yo La Tengo, Dino Jr, Pavement...a l l of which are good. I really like the little vocal trick applied to the phrase "slowburn".. . a n interesting little hook.

I literally thought these guys were modest mouse until I looked. The vocals sound just like MM on their older stuff.

I find the vocals a little weak -- then again, I'm not a built-to-spi l l fan. I guess I've grown old enough to be annoyed by college student voices preaching to me about life's fundament, yet I haven't become mature enough not to care. The instrumentat i o n is quite pleasant and space-ish. In fact, I love this until the vocals take over.

"Slow Burn" sounds like it could fit onto Pavement's "Slanted & Enchanted" LP. And that, of course, is a good thing.

Neat sound ...like pasteurized distortion, poured over ice and pulled through a straw on a warm summer evening.

Great stuff! Love it! Reminds me of a more mellow 'Modest Mouse' crossed with 'My Bloody Valentine.'

Who is this artist? they are great!!! Very nice sound...kind soft and dark and complicated. Fuzzy and languid like Yo La Tengo, but the lyrics are much different.

OK then, I really like Slow Burn. :-). This band needs to do a better job of self-promoti o n on the internet; the myspace page and official website are both quite lame. This promotion is essential for Indie bands, in my opinion.

This is like Neil Young doing a Doug Martsch impression. Very good all the same. I will say this...I love the lyrics. Very introverted psychedlic explorations of the mirror's reflection.

It's good, but sounds a bit like he's doing an impression of Doug Martsch. That's how close this sounds to Built To Spill.

Pretty guitars and harmonies have me thinking farther back - a little Mamas & Papas and Byrds, maybe? Definitely lovely.
