Biography
Il Divo put a fresh face on popular songs, utilizing their exceptional voices, good looks, and cultural diversity to bring their romantic blend of classical and pop music to audiences around the world. Formed after a two-year search, the quartet is comprised of American tenor David Miller, popular French singer Sébastien Izambard, Swiss tenor Urs Buhler, and Spanish baritone Carlos Marin. Their eponymous debut album was released in April of 2005 and featured a diverse play list that included a cover of the Toni Braxton hit "Unbreak My Heart" and the Frank Sinatra standard "My Way," as well as "Nella Fantasia," a newly arranged -- with vocals -- version of "Gabriel's Oboe" from Ennio Morricone's score for The Mission. It became a massive worldwide hit, and the quartet returned in 2005 with Ancora, a ten-track collection of new music featuring the hit "I Believe in You" with Celine Dion. There are few groups today that inspire me. Il Divo is one. Perhaps with the electronic media that we all take for granted now and so many groups performing for your dollar, it may be hard to stand out. But stand out they do. Il Divo stops me in my tracks with their hauntingly beautiful sound while playing classics that we all know and at the same time always experimentin g with something new. Live on Il Divo. I will be listening.

All I can say that I fell in love with their music. They have this special sound of voice that hits you in the deepest of your heart. My friend "Lucrecia" was the one who took me to a concert of them and then I heard them on the telenovela "Sortilegio" where they sing the main song. They really know how to make you feel loved and feel good about yourself.

Il Divo is amazing in every way and not just in talent. They are four fantastic men who are wonderful to their fans. Saw them in Chicago in May and July and absolutely loved their performances ! Best talent out there! Their moms should be proud of who they are!

These men are gentlemen. Gentle men. I saw their concert in Chicago in July. How can you not feel it in your heart. They saw me through a very tough time in my life. It was comforting to have their music and smiles help me through it. And to think they don't even know that. They have left their legacy already.

There are not many men out there that can be described as beautiful, but these guys managed to do it on several different levels: appearance, singing, and character.

I am quite new at this type of music, but I went to my first Il Divo concert last nite in Ft Lauderdale Fl. These guys are absolutely superb. Their harmonious voices, just melted me away. I am definately their newest fan!

These guys are absolutely awesome! Not only are they handsome; it's obvious they know Our Lord Jesus Christ and realize know they are blessed with vocal abilities that are truly a Blessing to others. " IL Divo" short and unique tittle! I currently live in Miami,USA and went to visit my family in Spain, then my cousin put a cd in the car...when I hear their music I was in heaven!! I never felt something like this! It was a feeling like touching my heart gentle and soft! That is music, voice, so much love in it! They are beyond expectations !
