I was a friend of one of the singers in the Impala's , Jerry Delastrato ( I dont know if I spelled that correctly ) but wanted to let you know that Jerry passed away a few years ago in his native Pittsburgh ( Carrick ). He was a super person, and a super human being. Rest in Peace Jerry..we miss you.

One of the greatest rockroll recordings of the late 50s. Not a song you hear very often but a wonderful group. Truly a classic.

They have a "Greatest Hits" album, but not much else on it. I loved "Goodbye Everybody" which is not on the album, but I'd love to hear it again. I can't find any reference to it anywhere. They had a great sound.
