Repitition is cool? No, but rhythmic and melodic motifs can make for a dynamic and beautiful piece of work, especially when those motifs are energeticall y charged as in this song.
Originality. . . i s sometimes as boring as repetition. I mean, when *everyone* is being original.... Repeating material, but making it work: that is art. |

if the guy who said he was in this band is for real-this breakup was a huge mistake-its not easy to go to other bands and create the magic again.good luck-you'll need it because you blew it.

i like this band- must agree singer's voice is great- but the music itself (not lyrics) is a bit repetitive. not from song to song, but within the individuals songs.

Thsi band/person is pretty good. I usually dont like alot of bands like this one, but they are pretty good
you're gone and the music is still alive-if this is true-this a classic like what mortal love is doing-bow down my grace in serenity and dream to attain humility-you made immortal music.

This is why I like Pandora, plays the lesser well know stuff you never hear on the radio. You can get 320kbs (legally) mp3 versions of this bands songs from www.thepirat e b a y . c o m .

another great band-an amazingly beautifully- a d d i c t i v e voice
in tenebris didnot break up just are taking time off to be with their families.
Every time Pandora plays a song from In Tenebris I have to stop what I'm doing and listen. The singer is amazing.

I recently downloaded all their music from their website (www.inteneb r i s . c o m ) . After burning them to disk I popped one into my car stereo before heading off to work and found myself mesmerized by Christina's crystal clear voice. Two songs later I finally remembered to put the car in drive. Thank you In Tenebris for that little escape.
I don't like a lot of female singers, but this one has a great voice--she reminds me a little bit of Tarja.
ReddAJ, if you find out anything more about In Tenebris, will you post it here? thanks a heap.
I saw them perform in DC with my friend's band. The sound of her voice transported me straight from the other room. It reminded me of the early darkness of Shirley Manson's singing and I hope to hear more of her, despite their recent breakup.
Yeah, I'm REALLY crushed. However, I asked via their myspace page for info on lyrics, and they will be forthcoming (just not yet). One will have to settle for everything they've done so far . . . and who knows, some or all of them may end up in other bands. That voice, though, oh, it's seductive.
They broke up? Noooooo! I was looking forward to more of this excellence.. . ! Tell me it's not true!
I think they have broken up. They have a myspace page. I'm crushed. Samuel, you're right about haunting; however, what about Dreadful Shadows, My Dying Bride, or Darkwell? I muse that there may definitely be different degrees (or even genres?) of haunting.
Although I can't seem to find much of anything on this band, they apparently have a website up with free downloads of alot of their songs. Sadly, not all of the songs from this album are there, but quite a few are.

iTunes needs to get this band... I've been searching everywhere. Hard to find anything about them! New band? They're excellent!
I hate to sound repetitive, but they are truly a haunting band. I never got the people who called Within Temptation and Evanescence haunting. They are good bands, but this is the first haunting band I have heard, and they are one of my favorites.
Excellently haunting. You can actually feel what they are trying to get across
