Biography
Born of a chance meeting and the innate musical rapport established between vocalist Maria Brink and lead guitarist Chris Howorth, In This Moment quickly grew from local cult favorites performing in Los Angeles clubs to a MySpace phenomenon before landing a deal with Century Media Records. Along the way, the group was fleshed out by rhythm guitarist Blake Bunzel, bassist Jesse Landry, and drummer Jeff Fabb; embarked on several U.S. tours with the likes of Diecast and 36 Crazyfists; and gradually honed its melodic metalcore songwriting for the recording of the 2007 debut album Beautiful Tragedy, which was supported via the band's inclusion in the Hot Chicks of Metal Tour, featuring Lacuna Coil and Within Temptation, among others. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide

I saw them open for mudvayne on valentines day....this chick is absolutely amazing, i hate to say it, but the recording (as good as it is) comes nowhere close to doing them justice....i suggest you look up their cover of pantera's im broken on youtube if you really want to be impressed

we seen them open for rob zombie and ozzy on halloween a couple of years ago and Maria Brink and the rest kick a**! plus she's pretty as she is talented

I love her voice and the screaming is by far the best, the whole band kicks a**.

i don't see how they are similar to Flyleaf or fireflight?? ? ? the vocals are not so good, but the instruments are :) it's a lot of shouting not singing...

i'm gonna be honest. i'm diggin' that instrumental (like hardcore! >,<), but the vocals aren't doin' it for me. the notes are good, but i guess it's just her singing style. no offense to ITM fans, it's just how i feel. i do respect her because she can sing and scream rather well. (i'd kill to hear Claudio from C&C sing for this band...) i see this band as a female version of Killswitch Engage... yeah...

I don't know if they have it here, but ITM did en excellent cover of "Run to the Hills" originally done by Iron Maiden. I prefer their first album though, The Dream is a sound album but you can taste the punk influences. The first album is just unrelenting.

The lead singer is hot. The first album cover doesn't do her justice. I saw her at the HOBs in Hollywood with FFDP last month. After her show she came down to sign autographs. Definitely would bury my face between her legs.

I saw this band live before I didn't even knew who they were. I instantly fell in love with them. Anyone would be lucky to see them. All I have to say is AMAZING. Maria really knows how to rock it. Not many woman out there can sing like her. They are all whiney, but she can scream and on top of it she has a beautiful voice. They are 2nd fav next to Godsmack. Which is a huge compliment. Love them and anyone who doesn't is f**king stupid. They are the best!!!!!!!! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

they need to get their new cd on here. i like it alot better than their old stuff. she should keep to the singing. shes ok looking, i wouldnt say hot, but ok. bc she has to make a pose to look "hot" if you guys get their new cd, look at her on almost every picture. she looks off.

i first saw these badasses at ozzfest, i was so inspired MARIA IS MY HERO!!! she has great vocals and a gorgous baby boy... and shes still hot and touring, shes amazing!!! one of my fav new bands! they also did a kick a** job on there pantara cover and slayer cover!

great band. i saw these guys at the wiltern then the next day saw them at ozzfest. just awesome. she can sing, scream and the band has great energy. oh and shes hot.
