this woman has such a beautiful voice! the vocals are very similar to vienna teng, and often charlotte martin as well, but i think its only the strong piano components that make her similar to tori. personally, i think tori amos has much too distinctive and unusual a voice to be "similar" to anyone in that aspect of her music.

I can see how she sounds like Vienna Teng, but I dont think Vienna Teng uses her head voice nearly as much as Jenny Dalton.
I love Jenny Dalton's use of piano. Constant use with harmonies and arpeggios and overlapping parts.

Actually, she does sound a lot like both Vienna Teng and Tori Amos. She popped up on both my Vienna Teng station and my Tori Amos station, and my Regina Spektor station as well. Her voice is very similar to Vienna Teng, imo, and her piano work shares many qualities with Tori. I'd assume that's why Pandora lists them as "similar artists." I hadn't heard of Jenny Dalton before now, but I'm sure to go looking for her music, now.

I love this girl, her piano is so haunting. Snow Mazes of Norway brought me to tears. Pandora is rocking my world this morning! Cadence remains one of my favorites, but I hunger to hear more!

in terms of the tori/jenny debate, i think it can be said that SHE sounds nothing like tori, but i do think that her piano style is similar. either way, bottom line is it's beautiful

"Cadence" is unfortunatel y the only song Pandora has so far played from this artist, and it was beautiful and intricate. What a shame I've never heard of Jenny Dalton until now! I have a lot of catching up to do on her albums.
