John Lennon & Yoko Ono
Selected Discography
jesus? really. He preached peace, what would jesus had added to that? "truly needed" i think not.

The tradgedy is that he truely needed Jesus. Be careful who and why you idolize him.

I had the unfortunate experience of being at Gary LaMoody's when Mark David Chapman told Gary, Gale Epps, John Samuelson, and myself that he was going to kill John Lennon. This was in 1972 in Decatur, Georgia. We wrote him off as the crazy person he was,and is. If we only knew that he was serious, we could have taken him out in the Georgia woods and changed history. THIS IS A TRUE AND HAUNTING STORY... IT WILL HAUNT ME ALL OF THE DAYS OF MY LIFE.

one of the best solo albums of his career. Well done. Woman and just like starting over is the best songs. He was taken too soon. Wish that His killer was sane when he did the deed. The guy did like him as a person. Why kill a person that is liked by the world?

I can just listen to his music over and over...favor i t e s (Solo, not Beatles) include "Just Like Starting Over" "Love" and "Whatever Gets You Thru The Night"

Lookas, I don't believe in John either, but I sure do like about 60% of his music.
He had honed his craft quite well. Even those who don't like the man must admit he sure influenced rock. He deservedly belongs on anyone's list of 'top ten greatest rock stars'. PS- my 60% number (above) is actually quite high. I normally only like about 30% of any artist's output. 60% is incredibly high in my book! |
