This artist is the real deal, and I am not just saying that because I have known John since 1982 and have been a personal friend and acquaintance ever since. This man has definitely payed his dues in the music industry playing every kind of music over the years. John deserves all the success he gets in one of the most difficult and competitive businesses in the world. I've only heard one song by this performer so far and his playing is great. He varies the tempo and phrasing much more than I have heard. This type of playing is very appealing because it keeps drawing the audience's ear to the song. I am looking forward to hearing more of his efforts and reading his history.
