Johnnie Maestro was also in another fantastic group in the late 1960's called Brooklyn Bridge. His exceptional harmony was very evident in the group's short 2-album career. "The Worst that could Happen" was one of my favorites.

To answer my own question, If I understand it right, Besame means kiss me, looked this up on the internet, I think if Brazilian. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Johnny Maestro's voice is the essential doo wop sound. The melodies, his unique sound, every song of his and the Crests are remarkable. When they start playing,if possible, I stop what I'm doing and enjoy. I have no idea what "Besame Baby" means, but the melody is great. If you know, leave note, thanks.
