Johnny Mathis' Christmas songs bring back a warm flood of happy Christmas memories. I grew up listening to him.

In about 1958, my aunt bought "Merry Christmas". We played it over and over every Christmas. It is the version of all these songs that I think of when I think of Christmas. Then in about 1973, I found a copy of it in the bargain bin at K-Mart, and so MY children have grown up with it as well. Last week I was riding with my daughter when Sleigh Ride came on. She said "you know Dad, that is my FAVORITE Christmas CD". So now it's the soundtrack for a third generation!

Grew up listening to Jonny Mathis singing Christmas songs, and watching Andy Williams Specials on T.V. PBS ran old Andy Williams shows this weekend, my two teenagers laugh at how corny they were, but sat and watched the whole thing with me. It was a great afternoon.

What is wrong with Christmas Music, Jean, This is a wonderful time of the year. You do not have to listen you know you can adjust your system not to hear this Music. So really just don't listen if you don't like it. Thanks

Johnny Mathis and Christmas are one and the same when it comes to the music. I have helped to create several wonderful Christmas memeories for my children and now my Grandchildre n and Johnny is right in the middle of them along with Alvin and the Chipmunks. One of my particular favorites is, "Sleighride"

Christmas at my home wouldn't be the same without Johnny! My siblings and I grew up listening to his Christmas songs. We now our making them a tradition with our children.

If you're looking for some great christmas music this holiday season, look no further than the 2003 Release of Merry Christmas by Johnny Mathis. He is one of a kind and his tones when single some of the best melodies Christmas songs have to offer is second to NONE. I high recommend this artist, especially for Christmas time!
