i half-way agree with you, cullen.nauck , but i also like Last one standing, Scream, and Dying to live.

underrated rockers. i like dying to live. it sounds a little like linkin park.
glad i heard them on pandora, i would have never known about them, they are pretty good...
they have pretty good music. i like haw they intertwine the piano with the rock sound. sort of like what skillet does.

I didn't even know the Heart of War album existed since the last thing I remember is the save jonah 33 website. It no longer exists, so I guess they're out there trying to make it again. Then again, they haven't updated their site in a while. So who knows. But I really like them, so hopefully they're not done rocking just yet.

I am not saying only listen to christian music musicluvr. I listen to alot of different types of music. I only have one christian radio station, i Christmas station & the rest are like Cascada & Aqua & groups like that. I was just saying that you should let the song speak to you. Not you only must listen to Christian & Godly music. With the world we live in today we should listen to it & also gaurd ourselves from some of the music these days & even some of the shows & movies.

i think that music is one of the ways these people minister to non believers and use their talents for good. if your good at something, why hide it? in Luke 11:33 it says, "No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl." i must say that is a pretty powerful verse. But also i disagree with khearts. i mean, it doesnt say in the Bible, you must only listen to godly and christian music, but to gaurd our hearts eyes and ears. that does mean what we listen to, bu

pursuethelig h t that is very true. I totally agree and MusicWhore28 = ) just because this is prasing god doesn't mean that it will sound boring or will be slow or heck won't have instruments. All that is important is that we praise God and all that he has given us. And to anyone, if a song that is prasing the one true lord comes on then listen to it. Not only with your ears but with your hearts. Let the song speak to because God is trying to get to you through the song. May the lord Bless you!

Music Whore28 =)
Does it surprise you that music of all genres can be made in the pursuit of glory for God? Jesus followers love to rock, too. We aren't all "Ned Flanders!" |
Here's just a quick thought. I'm not a Christian, I'm a follower and lover of Jesus! Christian is such a loose term now that practically anyone can call themselves a Christian. NO RELIGION HERE!!! A follower of Jesus has no religion because religion means that it's one person's set of beliefs that's true for them, but the fact is, there's no truth but Jesus' TRUTH! Religious people were actually the ones that killed Jesus! Anyone can argue with what I've said, but they can't change the Truth!!!

Hailcary, relax. Lots of great songs have not so fab grammer. What's important is the message not the words chosen to deliver it.
I've been lovin this band for a few years now!!! Their first CD was their best though...Hea r t of War is a close second. Great message in every song!!!!
However...I did hear that they broke up!! :'( |
Hailcary.. you are such a noob.. LOL.. Correcting a band's grammar!! ROFL.
This is what you sound like: "Christian bands should always edit for grammar before they cut their CD." Ridiculous.. Certainly you can't be serious.. These guys are good.. I like them.. bad grammar and all. lol (BTW.. I spell-checke d this message just for you!) |
It made my list hehehe. They sure beat the other stuff out there. Go Christian Rockers, Rock on, and on!!!!!!!!!!
