Kalapana
Selected Discography
My brother and I were first introduced to Kalapana in 1990 when we revisited our old stomping grounds (Mililani). Our brother-in-l a w , the coolest guy, drove us around in his convertible playing Kalapana. "Goin'... Goin'... Goin' Goin', Gone!!"
God bless these guys. Sorry about what happened to Mackey Feary. What a great gift he was. Some of my favorite music of all time. |

I alway like KALAPANA, just did know their name or the song (The Hurt). Now that I am back on the mainland I love to listen to these guys while I am on I95.

I was around in the 70's but I never heard this band until today, 30 years later. These guys are great! Pandora has enriched my life with music and turned me onto to a whole new crop of artists, and it keeps coming.
Thank you Pandora. I rave about you to everyone. |

One of the best bands from Hawaii. The late Mackey Feary was the best singer to come out of Hawaii..

Keep playing Hawaiian pop and classic!!! Please... it is such a good music to dream of the islands by!!!

This takes me back home to Hawaii! I remember seeing them do this in a club in 1976. Still sounds wonderful.

Whoever is handling Hawaiiana at Pandora is really doing a great Job!! Kudos!
Can you hire me to handle Surf and spy instrumental ? Actually, I'd almost do it for free. |

It was a huge surprise to have Kalapaana pop up here, considering all the many artists that do not exist in the Pandora universe. Old favorites. My wife is a local girl from Kaneohe, and this is one of the great Hawiiana records she brought into our marriage. Kind of the late 70's "Pablo Cruz" of Hawaii. It's funny how many great Hawaiian artists never take off on the mainland.

I am so glad I found these guys!! This is old school contemporary Hawaiian!! Love them!

So glad they have Kalapana! Try the Carpenters station too. That and Public Enemy...
