Kat Deluna
Biography
Raised in the Bronx and the Dominican Republic, Kat DeLuna grew up with a love for singing and, at the age of 14, began attending the New Jersey School of the Performing Arts. She formed an all-Latina R&B group called Coquette, which once opened for rapper Cassidy, but it wasn't long before she signed with GMB Music Group through the Sony-distributed Epic label. Her debut album (9 Lives), released in August 2007, was preceded by the club track "Whine Up," featuring Elephant Man. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide

I love "Whine Up" and it's barely possible for me to get distracted from that song. I really haven't heard a lot of her other songs, or if I did, as most songs I hear, I don't remember the title of them.

great singer but she cant hit high notes and gets a little scrachty sometimes but other than that good body moving music

This girl can actually SING...which is probably why we don't really see her around anymore. She has a nice voice that you can still hear through all the music, as opposed to people who use the music to HIDE their voices! =)

Her songs are nice but sometimes I wonder if she is a smoker or something. Her voice gets very rough halfway through some of the tunes.
