Biography
In 2005, Louisiana-born and North Carolina-raised singer Kellie Pickler landed a spot in the fifth season of American Idol. Though she finished sixth, the former waitress and Miss North Carolina contestant charmed American audiences with her Southern twang and blonde ambition, resulting in a contract with BNA Records that yielded her debut album, Small Town Girl, in the fall of 2006. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide

I just LOVE her!!! She is so cute and so real. She puts true feeling in her singing and song writing, and in Country Music, that is half the battle. But she has the other half down too, she has that natural twang in her beautiful voice.

The next-generat i o n Dolly? She has the talent and drive. Is she smarter than she looks (ala Dolly)? Only time will tell. Kellie is a wonderful singer and songwriter, and her be-myself presentation is adorable. I hope she continues to do well and doesn't lose herself!

I have never watched American Idol. For this I am glad. I have two good ears. They discern beauty and thoughtfulne s s in her choice of words and music. Tish Hinojosa had the same ambition. Sometimes it takes a little more to get the career rolling. I hope she continues in the same vein. Her lyrical sound gives me the shivers and sends me back home to Richmond. More Please!

Kelli is an adorable young lady.I love her singing and loved her on American Idol.She is going to do very well with her career and she has a very bubbly personality. I can't say enough about this girl.

Kelly, is so real in her singing. You can tell she puts her heart into her songs. I don't think the boob job helped her. It made her look a little trashy in my opinion.

Her CMA performance was the most touching performance I have seen in years. Everytime I watch reruns of it tears instantly fall. Beautiful!

I'm not into county music but I like it when I hear Kelly Pickler or Carrie Underwood. They both carry a natural thing about themselves. They're awesome.

OMG. I almost cried too! She was like WOW! I like so love her because I lived in an orphanage for a year and now i live with my foster parents and that song reminds me of my mom and I think those same things. And its even cooler cause in one part of the song she's like if you come home, i wont b here, i'll be in Tennessee, well, I am like ME TOO!!! I am going there for college. GO TIGERS!!! woot! She is fantastic and I love her.

I watched the Country Music Awards last year, and she sang "I Wonder", about a young girl whose mother had abandoned her. She broke down at the end because of her own life. She was given up for adoption after living in a foster home for reasons her mother has yet to explain to her. My heart went out to her, and I cried along with her. God Bless her. She sang her life on stage and was fantastic! Karma.

Listening to the album on Pandora has been a treat. I was skeptical at first but I have been impressed with the songs. She trully can sing. I am now a fan. I hope that her Record company can promote her correctly so she does not fade away. She is an idol!

I saw Kellie on this year's CMA's doing her song "I Wonder" she just brought the crowd at the Gaylord Center to their feet as she finished the song with tears flowing down her face. The song reminds me of when my bio-mom left me at an early age. She ranks up their with Carrie Underwood another Idol country artist.
