Biography
In 2005, Louisiana-born and North Carolina-raised singer Kellie Pickler landed a spot in the fifth season of American Idol. Though she finished sixth, the former waitress and Miss North Carolina contestant charmed American audiences with her Southern twang and blonde ambition, resulting in a contract with BNA Records that yielded her debut album, Small Town Girl, in the fall of 2006 and an eponymous sophomore release in 2008. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide

Yeah it doesn't hurt that she is super yummy! She wouldn't have made it so far if she was fat and ugly that's for sure. It doesn't matter how talented you are, if you don't have "the look" you ain't gonna make it! She's obviously very beautiful!Gr e a t "breeding stock". If she wants to have my babies I wouldn't object!

Oh my gosh! To the girl below me, you are absolutely right! Kellie came out in this absurdly tight leather dress and skyscraper heels and I was like 'what the hell?' Why are people trying to 'sex' her up? She used to be wholesome. Can't stand it. I wish artist's would keep sex out of their image and dress like normal people. We know you have a good voice, you don't need to advertise your bod to go along with it. No matter how fit you are.

I don't know about AI. Although I do enjoy watching the show. But look at Carrie Underwood? She won. And she's fabulous. I don't see Kellie Pickler lasting or ever being as successful as Carrie. Plus did anyone see the ACM's and Kellie's performance? She was dressed like a hooker and looked like she was doing drugs. She's in the wrong genre for that.

So true 'mario'. Alot of the times it's the 'losers' per se that end up being the TRUE winners. On one of Taylor Swift's page a few other people and me were discussing how AI might be rigged and set up. I don't know about that show. Sometimes it's a little strange. Of course, look at the judges. Good grief! That's a whole other discussion within itself!
But anyway, great music so far Kellie. You are great. |

This just proves to me that American Idol, usually has it wrong. How many so called runner-ups have ended up with bigger careers then the winner? Keep going Kellie...

Well Kellie Pickler is pretty good, sometimes Carrie Underwood isn't very good live and Taylor Swift...she is horrid live and her glitter guitar, I can't stand it. So who's the better singer? I'd have to say Carrie.

I think she is pretty good. But yea, sometimes she is overated. I think that's one word? :). The song "Don't You Know Your Beautiful" is really good. Red High Heels is a kick in the a** to dumb boyfriends. Love it!

Every time I heard I Wonder I would break down and cry. I hadn't seen my daughter in 21 years, I just found her this Christmas and she Wonders no more.
