Nope, not the same female vocalist. The Kickin Grass Band is from Raleigh, NC and I have been lucky enough to see them play since 2004. Lynda Dawson plays guitar and sings for KGB and I believe Martha Scanlan played guitar and sang for the Reeltime Travelers (who were based out of Johnson City, TN).

I found a YouTube video of Little Bird of Heaven based on the last post and mbutleri is right, they definitely have a similar sound, which I very much enjoyed.

I've only heard "Life is not a guarantee" I like the sound, but it's a little too monotonous- plunk, plunk, plunk in the background (banjo?)
