Biography
Maryland-born saxophonist Kim Waters debuted in 1989 with the LP Sweet and Sexy; where his earliest releases -- 1991's Sax Appeal, 1993's Peaceful Journey and 1994's It's Time for Love among them -- boasted an R&B vibe, he eventually began moving towards smooth jazz, a transformation which culminated on 1998's Love's Melody. One Special Moment followed a year later and From the Heart was issued in spring 2001. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide

Kim and I go a long way back, I have known him since 1991. I was in the recording studio with him in cincinnati when he did Peaceful Journey. I told him that he should call the album From the Soul, but I really just enjoy his music. He is truly a beautiful person and a wondeful musician. If you ever get to see him in concert it will be money well spent.

Does anyone know what happened to 95.7 "The wave" Radio station or maybe it was 97.5 ? They played all of his and other great jazz musicians. One day i started up my car, i don't know what the heck...

I have been listening to Kim since 1989. Being a refined jazz lover Mr. Waters truely defines real talent & a true understandin g of current jazz state. He is also dynamic live. If you have a chance to see him, pay the money and get it done. You will not regret it!!!!!!!!
