Biography
Formed in 2006 by longtime friends from Augusta, GA, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood and Nashville native Hillary Scott after a chance meeting at a downtown Music City watering hole, Lady Antebellum blend contemporary country with soulful '60s R&B into an infectious modern brew that relies on the trio's rich harmonies and impeccable instrumental skills. Since its inception, the trio has gone from dive bars to the Grand Ole Opry, opening for Phil Vassar, Rodney Atkins, and Carrie Underwood. The group signed with Capitol Nashville in 2007 and released its first single, "Love Don't Live Here." Lady Antebellum's eponymous Victoria Shaw and Paul Worley-produced full-length debut followed in April 2008. ~ James Christopher Monger, All Music Guide

i love LA!!!! they are amazing, my favorite song of theirs is "Never Alone" with Jim Brickman. it is so beautiful and sweet. i also love "I Run to You" but their whole album is great. i love it! <3 :)

Lady A in an amazing band! They are one of the latest to come out of Nashville that I can truly say I love through and through, one of an instant favorite of mine since I heard their song "Love Don't Live Here" on the radio.
Their sophomore album, Need You Now, comes out in January, mark the date people! Has anyone heard their latest song? It's great isn't it? Once again, a Lady A song that I love! Keep it up guys! |

I love Lady A!! Saw them last week in New Berlin, IL and they sounded fantastic! We met them after the show and they were very friendly and gracious. Can't wait to see them again!

Lady A is one of the few bands that tips their hats to "old" country. Kudos to them! Most singers put the pedal to the metal and rip the rearview mirror off. Perhaps that's why I love Lady A so much, I'm a huge fan of country music from the 90's! Their debut album is one of my favorites, they have my money for their second album whenever it comes out. :)

Wow!!! I've never heard anything by Lady Antebellum before; Pandora added them when I added Little Big Town to my list. I just heard "Love don't live here". Their music is HOT!!! Looks like I've found a new favorite band!

Lady A is an awesome band. I am a historical house nut and they actually got their name from when they had a photo shoot in front of a Antebellum-s t y l e d home. Antebellum means: before the civil war. They are beautiful, majestic houses.
But back to Lady A! They are great. Run To You is my favorite song by them. Love Don't Live Here is another great song. I have their album and love it! |

i ran into Charles at a club in Nashville. So sweet....and ridiculously tall!

Absolutely my favorite new band. I saw them perform at a country music festival and fell in love. "I Run to You" and "Home is Where the Heart Is" are two more great songs from the album.
