The lead singer, is an artist by the name of Rosey! She has her own solo career, with two albums: Rosey; and The Old Fashioned Way. The former is pop/R&B/rock driven, while the latter is more like jazz standards, with nearly all original compositions . This Lal Meri project, continues her eclectic career with it's eastern, world-music influenced sound. Carmen Rizzo and Ireesh have also recorded music that sounds very much like Thievery Corporation, Massive Attack, etc.
