Logh
Selected Discography
They are a Swedish band, pronounced "log", as in wood. Started out as a quartet, but dropped one guy and added three. They have a 2007 release, North, which is described in Wikipedia as "post-rock". I get the Pinback vibe, but I think early Logh is more spare than Pinback.
More recently Logh sounds more like Pinback: http://www.y o u t u b e . c o m / w a t c h ? v = w v g A Y T Y z b 2 E |

radiohead could be an influence but it would be blasphemy to compare them to radiohead.
|

meh. i would not compare them to radiohead.
seems like their first album is the only semi decent one. |

how does one pronounce logh? like how a scotsman says "loch"? or does it rhyme with rouge (the color, not the guy)? or same end sound but long o? oh wait. i stopped caring.

Check out my new band: "Black and White Photo of a Band in Front of Dead Trees".

one of there songs popped up on my sufjan stevens station. i'm digging it. has really peaked my curiosity about their other songs.

Really? These guys sound way less derivative of Sonic Youth than about 100 other bands I could list (not that that's a bad thing anyway). To the person who referred to them as "crap" that he was dumbfounded to have pop up on his metal station: expand your limited musical horizons, knob. I don't know, I've heard a few songs on here and dig it. Hey, Pandora folks, could we get a bio?
