great years of hip hop. i really enjoy the artists who took a fervent time to do interesting, signature work i.e. 'Souls of Mischief' and many, MANY others... the music is still just as strong; resists a dated effect, and is such a heroic blast to listen to anytime. i believe this has helped remind post-artists of a foundation in hip hop consisting of message oriented, reflection on the state basis explicitness that makes it so worthwhile.
