Biography
Lovage is the name Nathaniel Merriweather, aka Dan the Automator, gave to the group he formed for his 2001 album Music to Make Love to Your Old Lady By. He was assisted by a variety of other performers, including Mike Patton (of Faith No More and Fantomas), Kid Koala, Damon Albarn (of Blur), Prince Paul, Jennifer Charles (of Elysian Fields), and others. many of the tracks give me the same feeling I get with Touch and Go's "Straight to number 1" and Queen Latifah's "How Do I Love Thee" a general tingling, feel every movement of air on skin. . . slightest touch causes an audible reaction, catching of breath

i love this cd adn it shows the true range of Dan the automator. not only that the strocker ace amazing i love the whole album just herd it for the first time 2 days ago.

This band is one of my favorites. Its very sensual and sexy and comedic. Jennifer Charles voice is so smouldering, it feels like she is petting you when she sings. Of course, Mike Patton is amazing. Thank you Dan! May I have another?
